Construction on Trillium Lake Loop

There will be construction work on Trillium Lake Loop mid-July through the summer season to replace segments of boardwalk. The contract begins at the second boardwalk past the amphitheater for two consecutive boardwalks on the northeastern side of Trillium Lake. The remainder of the trail will not be affected.

The trail is CLOSED within the project area during project staging and heavy equipment operations for visitor safety through August 2025. 

After the closure is lifted, there may still be intermittent delays for hikers. We request visitors use caution around the project area.

This project is being accomplished in collaboration with the National Forest Foundation to improve trail accessibility. Previous sections of boardwalk have already been replaced thanks to NFF.
